SkinBella is a non-invasive, Italian technology that goes beyond microdermabrasion by utilizing an ultrasonic applicator. Unlike standard crystal microdermabrasion, diamond tip technology, and other forms of exfoliation that employ abrasive mechanisms, SkinBella is extremely gentle and can be used on all skin types.
Four piezoelectric transducers in the handpiece produce bi-elastic vibrations. The high-speed mechanical oscillation at 25,000 cycles per second, combined with liquid activators, creates controlled cavitation. Cavitation is the formation of a vacuum and vapor bubbles within a flowing liquid. The rapid mechanical oscillation of the ultrasonic applicator interacting with the liquid medium produces “controlled cavitation” that gently exfoliates. This action helps to effectively and safely remove dead skin cells.
